39. When school principals and headmasters were asked, ‘Is the
School Management Development Committee (SMDC)/
SMC active in managing and running the local school
effectively?’ the survey results show that 90.20% responded
‘Yes,’ while 9.80% said ‘No,’ indicating strong effectiveness
and involvement of the SMDC/SMC in school management
(Figure 4.39).
